Budget Of Ramayan 1 And 2 Film Combined
The budget for the Ramayan film parts 1 and 2 has been a subject of significant public interest and has involved reports. Previously, it was reported that the combined budget of the film will going to be 1600 crore INR for both parts. This makes it one of the expensive films ever made by an Indian film Franchise.
The Part 1 of the film going to be made in ₹900 including promotions and production of the film. And the second part of the film will going to be made in ₹700 crore. The reduction in the second installment’s budget is attributed to the high investment in asset creation and world-building in Part 1, with Part 2 focusing more on action sequences and concluding the story.
However, recent reports and interviews given by Namit Malhotra in which he dramatically released the actual budget of the film. He said the film is going to be made in 4000 crore INR which is approaximatley $500 million. This makes Ramayana by far the costliest Indian film project ever, exceeding the budgets of major Indian blockbusters like Adipurush (₹550 crore), RRR (₹500 crore), and Kalki 2898 AD (₹600 crore). It also surpasses even many high-budget Hollywood productions on an absolute scale.
